Analysing Photography

An aerial photograph is taken from an elevated position and is pointed down at the area of land in subject. The camera is never fixed to anything on the ground, leaving it free to hover above the area of land. These usually include helicopters, aircraft, unmanned aircraft, pigeons, parachutes, balloons and blimps.

By using aerial photography analysis, you can clearly see the scale and the shape of the area of land you are registering for. Additionally, it gives you a better view of the land rather than just a planned drawing. From an aerial photograph, you can clearly see several features including:
